Dress Code

St. Louis tends to be hot in August! For most of the event, attire will be business casual or “business comfortable.” Think of what you’d typically wear to the office. Nice jeans are perfectly acceptable. We also recommend bringing a light sweater or jacket, as indoor spaces may be cooler due to air conditioning.

Certain, activity-specific recommendations are as follows:

  • Tuesday Evening (Awards Banquet): Cocktail, semi-formal or formal attire.
  • Wednesday (Volunteer Event): Casual; jeans (or shorts) paired with your provided volunteer shirt. Closed-toed sneakers are recommended! Feel free to bring a sun hat or ballcap.
  • Wednesday Evening (City Museum): Smart, relaxed casual. This is a more laid-back evening with a BBQ buffet, so feel free to dress down a bit while still keeping it polished.
  • Thursday: Business casual/business comfortable. We’ll also have professional headshots available, so if you’d like up update your LinkedIn photo, consider bringing a blazer or an elevated option to polish your look.

Business Portraits

When: Thursday 8/6
Time: 8:00 – 10:00 AM
Where: The Memorabilia Room (this is in the Lindell Ballroom section of the hotel)

The photographer will be using a light gray background. We suggest wearing a contrasting color (white, navy, green, etc.). Plan accordingly!
