We are running hot new Intel  Macs in all mix rooms for even more speed and dependability! In a beloved retro touch we have added the new CB paddle controller to Stage 3, 5, and 6.... All Mix stages are now Cedar equipped for state of the art dialog noise treatment...

Larson Studios in Hollywood CA has been busy for the last few months installing upgrades throughout our entire nine stage facility. Stage Three, the flagship Chris Pelonis designed room has been completely rebuilt with all new equipment, including four full blown Pro-Tools HD4 Accel Systems running on hotrod Intel MacPro  systems, Two new ICON D control consoles with Martinsound Multimax Surround Monitor Controller and JBL Cinema Surround Monitor System with over three thousand watts of available Crown power. As one producer said "This is one of the best sounding stages I have ever worked on!"  

Also new at Larson this year is our thirty terabyte redundant OSX  Audio Server, streamlining the workflow throughout the facility and providing much more secure storage as well. At Sunset We have also added 10 Meg fiber internet connectivity from Time Warner a leader in reliability. At Wilcox we have also installed symmetrical 10 meg fiber. Complementing our dedicated Digi Delivery systems in both facilities  is our lightning fast Mac FTP server allowing us to connect with clients faster than ever.

On the editorial side we have implemented a huge  Effects Library Server, available from every workstation in the facility. All editorial rooms and stages now use non linear video, served over our own gige network to allow faster workflow throughout the facility. All Editorial rooms have also been upgraded to implement new Intel IMAC computers. We have installed and updated our huge plug in complement in all mix stages,  We have also added the quality of DolbyFax and Dolby E to our offerings

Macintosh OSX Audio Server, Fiber connectivity, Dedicated FTP Server,   Digital Video, Served Effects Library, !, New JBL Cinema Monitors and Crown Amps on both stage 3 ,5 and 6 bringing our large rooms to 7.1
